Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA)
CES Exams offers the Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA) in Toronto, Canada.
You’re encouraged to take TMUA when applying to study Mathematics or Mathematics-related courses such as Economics and Computer Science at certain universities. In most cases, the test is not compulsory, however a good performance on this test may result in a reduced offer.
The universities below accept results from the test and the full list of courses can be found in our Courses accepting TMUA document.
TMUA is provided and managed by Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing. Registration and invigilation services are provided by CES Exams Toronto.
The TMUA Test is taken annually in the fall. The next TMUA Test will take place in November 2020 at 112 Elizabeth St., Toronto, ON, M5G1P5.

If you would like to take the TMUA Test in Toronto:
- Start your university application and obtain your UCAS ID
- Register on our website, entering your UCAS ID and choosing the universities and programs where your TMUA results should be sent
- Continue the registration to complete the payment for your test online with a credit card (a fee applies for tests taken in Canada to cover costs for the venue, test day staff, registration and test courier)
- Wait for confirmation email, which will include your TMUA confirmation number and further test day information
